Shakopee has an awesome sand bottom pool. You get the fun of the beach without the seaweed and fish in the safety of a city pool! We went swimming for a little bit. Then had a picnic. And then went swimming some more. It was a HOTTT day. In fact, I think it was over 100 degrees F at one point. The sand was unbearably hot to walk on without sandals, but the water felt fantastic! Nolan was initially unsure of the water, but then he took a snooze in my arms while laying in the water.
