Last week, we were so excited to be able to spend some quality time with Grandma Bonnie. She came to hang out with us, because Nikki (our daycare lady) was on vacation in Colorado. We loved spending time with Grandma Bonnie and stayed pretty busy. Here is a glance into our time together:

Grandma came on Saturday morning, we went to some garage sales, out to lunch with one of my best friends, Reegan, and then to the mall. I even got to skip quiet time. Then Grandma Bonnie and I chilled out with my brother and daddy and mommy went out on a date.
On Sunday, we did the usual...went to church, did some home improvement projects, and had quiet time.
Monday was a BIG, BUSY day. Daddy had to work and then went to the Twins game, but we stayed very busy. First, we went to the zoo...and got the only pictures from our entire 4 days with grandma.

| We watched the monkeys. |
 |
| I took a picture with the bear...look how tall I'm getting! |
 |
| I climbed on a bug...ewww! |
 |
| Grandma, mommy, and I all went down the slide. I LOVE the big kid park at the zoo! |
 |
| We watched the sharks being fed. |
 |
| We fed the goats. |
 |
| I drove the tractor. |

Nolan MISSED out. Okay, so when he gets bigger, I think he'll like the animals at the zoo more. He didn't mind it though. He was a good boy and slept most of the time.
Okay, but we only spent from about 10:15-2:00 at the zoo. Then we went to the mall! We had to hit up some sales and I got to play in the play area while my brother had a snack. We got home from the mall about 5:00. Then we ate supper and headed out again! Yep, that's right, another fun activity...we went swimming at the AmericInn with the big waterslide. I went down it lots with mommy and with grandma. My brother watched us. We swam until about 9:00 and then came home for bed. I was EXHAUSTED. Mommy and grandma did more projects though. They made homemade raspberry jelly AND yummy sugar cookies. I don't think they went to bed until almost 1am! Silly guys...
Tuesday, mommy and grandma finished hanging up all the new curtains and blinds. Grandma made rhubarb delight. Not sure if I like it. I like the white frosting on top and I know mommy LOVES it. After lunch, grandma had to go bye-bye because she had to work on Wednesday. Plus, I'm sure Grandpa Dave and Frankie missed her.
I'm glad she came though, because I had fun. I LOVE GRANDMA time (and GRANDPA time too). Thanks, Grandma Bonnie for coming and thanks, Grandpa Dave for sharing! |
