We got to bring Nolan home from the hospital a mere 36 hours after his birth. That's right, Brian and I checked in on Thursday, March 31, 2011 around 3:00pm after my final office appointment. Nolan was born at 1:20am on Friday, April 1, 2011. We were in the hospital until after our physicians both okayed us for departure...and discharged on Saturday early afternoon. Lauren picked out Nolan's going home outfit (a little brother shirt and brown pants, newborn sized!) It was the first and will be the last time he wears that onesie because it's already too small for our "big" little man. We were all home by 1pm in time for lunch with the grandparents before they left for Sioux Falls. Grandma Bonnie stayed behind to help us with our first night with a newborn.
