We all had the week off this past week to stay home and bond as a family. Brian took the week off from work and we also gave Lauren the week off from daycare. We spent many hours at home; however, on Thursday we broke out of the house. First stop, we went to the Men's Wearhouse to get some new shirts for daddy; much needed for Noel and Rob's wedding next weekend. Next stop, Culvers to eat...Lauren had been requesting going there ALL week. Then, we went to the park too, since we had about an hour before Nolan's newborn well check. All in all, it was a big morning and all went well. Nolan did great at his appointment. (Not that he's expected to do anything but eat, poop, and sleep!) He was not happy to have his clothes off for the check-up; however, he did NOT pee when getting weighed or measured. He's our growing boy...22 inches long (in the greater than 97%tile) and 8 pounds, 12 ounces (in the 75%tile). His doctor told us that these percentiles don't really mean much right now at such a young age; however, I believe that Nolan's our "big" little guy and eating like a champ! (He was almost back up to his birth weight at this appointment).
**On another note, Nolan has been doing fabulous in the area of sleep at night. I generally have to get up only once to feed him. Nolan goes down for the night between 11 and 12. Then he wakes between 3 and 4 am, eats/diaper change takes about 1/2 hour, and then goes back to sleep until 7 am or so.
