Will baby need to be EVICTED?

Just a quick entry to say NO baby yet.  I'm officially 40 weeks and 5 days.  I had another doctor's appointment today.  Well, first, I got up nice and early to take some pictures of our little man (aka had an ultrasound at 7am!)  I went alone, because Brian had to stay with Lauren.  Lucky both of them got to sleep in!  The ultrasound tech confirmed that our baby is a BOY and also that he's a beautiful, healthy baby.  Hooray!  Then, I came home and Brian and I took Lauren to daycare before our appointment.  Brian came with to my appointment where I completed a non-stress test that again confirmed that baby is as happy as a clam and healthy as a horse on the inside and that he is just not ready to come out to the cold MN spring we are having!  His heart rate was in the 150s and he was an active boy.  Nothing like watching my tummy move with movements not caused by me!  I'm continuing to progress very SLOWLY.  I have another appointment on Thursday afternoon to decide our plan of action should we have to evict little boy Heidemann and welcome him to our family.

As for now, we wait and continue our daily routines.  I'm working my 10 hour days and have been still seeing kiddos, since one of my co-workers is out sick.  On top of that, I was diagnosed with "pink eye" on Saturday and have been fighting a cold since last week.  I feel better, but sound worse since now I have lost my voice!  GRRRRRRRR....and I've been trying to use vocal rest as well as drinking plenty of water (like 5 water bottles full per day).  Lauren was also diagnosed with an ear infection last Wednesday.  Both Brian and Lauren have also been coughing.  Good news is that we're all on the mend.  Maybe our illness has kept baby in hiding?  Well, baby boy, we're getting better.  We can't wait to meet you!
