Mommy and I went to my brother's doctor appointment today. The midwife who checked mommy out even pulled up a chair so I could be "taller enough" to help measure my brother and listen to his heart. He measured right on, so he's getting "taller enough" to come out soon. His "heart burn" (aka heart beat) was in the 140s and sounding very strong. He's still really high and there have been no other changes. So he's good and ready to come and meet me, but not wanting to leave the comfort of his current home. Mommy was excited that she actually lost weight. There is hope that she'll fit into her pretty dress for Aunt Noel's wedding on April 15! So for now, we play the waiting game....
And mommy says we're not going to just sit around and do nothing. We will keep busy, enjoying our last few days OR weeks as a family of three. Today, mommy went to exercise and rode the bike 8 miles! Then mommy and I went swimming. Guess what?! I figured out how to kick my legs and move my arms so I can swim in the water all by myself! (Well, with the help of a "noodle"). I swam all over the pool. Then mommy and I came home for lunch. At my rest time, she finished cleaning and doing laundry too! It sounds like my daddy will be busy with work until my brother comes. He has a big project due on March 28th! My daddy is such a hard worker and I love him very much.
**Some Lauren sayings in this article are "taller enough", "bigger enough", "heart burn".
