Christmas with the Heidemann's

December 10-12, my Grandma Sandi and Grandpa Bruce came to visit.  Yep, they beat the storm and then got stuck in Shakopee with us.  And, they bought my cousin, Rayna!  They got here on Friday night, so we went out to eat at Perkins.  My Aunt Alyssa came to visit too.  She stayed at my house.

Then after supper, we went back to their hotel, the AmericInn in Shakopee.  Rayna and I took everyone swimming.  

We played in the little pool and went down the frog slide.  I even got Grandma Sandi to take me down the big slide in the big kid pool!  It was fun and I wanted to "do again!"

We closed the pool down at 10pm.  The pool had to go ni-night.  The next morning, I slept until 8:00am and woke up to a ton of snow.  AND it was still snowing.  Rayna, Grandma, and Grandpa came over to my house for lunch.  I shared my toys with Rayna.  Then we ate lunch and attempted to go to Target.  On our way to Target, we saw 3 cars stuck in about 3 blocks!  We took pictures there together....and we crashed the shopping carts.  Then on the way home, I crashed myself...again, remember it was only 3 blocks.  I stayed asleep and mommy took me up to my room for a nap.  Rayna took a nap in my room too.  We both slept for 2 or more hours!  While we slept, the adults played Monopoly Deal. 

Then, we woke up and bundled up to go out to eat at a fancy restaurant.  Because of the bad weather, the restaurant wasn't busy.  In fact, it wasn't even ready to open when we got there at 5pm!  They were very welcoming and accommodating though.  We got to eat in Arizona's steakhouse and they were super nice. 

 They served us our meal and then also provided yummy dessert.

Rayna and I were good girls.  We had fun too.  We got to sit by the Christmas tree and take some pictures at the restaurant.

Like our boots???  They say alot about the weather!

 Aunt Alyssa played with us too!  We love her!

 Then we bundled up again and headed across the street to the hotel.

We helped Grandpa Bruce hall the presents from the hotel room to a conference room that we borrowed.  Then we took more pictures by the toasty fireplace.

 Then we had fun handing out presents one at a time and then opening them. 

 They saved our favorite presents till last.  We both got new bikes!  Then we practiced riding them in the hotel, since it was too snowy outside!  Both Rayna and I could peddle our bikes.

 After we rode our bikes, we went back to the pool.  Again, we closed down the pool at 10pm.  Then we went back to the room to take a bath.

 Then it was WAY past my bedtime.  I gave Grandma and Grandpa kisses.  Daddy drove us home.  I had a snack and went to bed.  And guess what....I slept until 9am the next morning.

 Thanks Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunt Alyssa for a GREAT Christmas celebration.  I had lots of fun and I'm glad my cousin got to join us!
