2 1/2 years old...Our baby is growing up!

She can:
1.  Sing her ABCs.
2.  Undress herself.
3.  Go potty in the big girl potty.
4.  Stay dry at night.
5.  Count to at least 10.
7.  Keep herself 1/2 way clean when eating.
8.  Use her fork and her spoon.
9.  Drink out of a big girl cup.
10.  Go to swimming lessons without a parent in the pool.
11.  Have a conversation with me.
12.  Use her words in complete sentences to tell us what she wants.
13.  Play with her babies and tell mommy to be "bery gentle."
14.  Give her brother kisses (on mommy's tummy).
15.  Give her brother hugs.
16.  She has her shows..."Dora", "Super Why", "Sponge Bob"
17.  Her favorite part of swimming is jumping in the pool and getting her face wet.
18.  She helps with chores...feeding the dogs, setting the table, clearing the table, helping with laundry.
19.  She cleans up her toys with a little help.
20.  She LOVES to read any book.  After mommy or daddy reads to her, she will read the book back.
21.  Put her babies in time-out (and this is NOT because she's in time-out alot, it's because time-outs really work for her.)  She HATES them.
22.  Play with play dough.
23.  Colors and paints.  Has attempted to draw circles.
24.  She has attempted to "skip" and said "watch mommy, I'm skipping!"
25.  She likes to ride bike (inside now that there is snow on the ground).
26.  She has eaten 2 1/2 pieces of pizza during one meal...our grocery bill is GROWING!
27.  She likes to dance and talks about wearing a pretty dress at the wedding.
28.  Favorite meal is mac n cheese and salmon.
29.  Favorite toy is her babies.
30.  Loves to shop.  Has requested going to the mall or Target depending on what she needs to shop for.
31.  She loves holidays this year.  Has requested to go trick-or-treating even though its not Halloween.  Actually sat on Santa's lap.
32.  She's doing better with sleeping both at nap time and bed time.  We've been able use a timer at nap time and tell her the sun will wake her up in the morning.
33.  She likes to get up between 6:30-7:00 am (no sleeping in for this mama!)
34.  She goes to sleep between 8:30-9:00 pm.
35.  She likes to sleep with her light on and the door open.  (We've even tried night lights and Christmas lights)!
36.  She's our Lauren Kate!  And we love her very much!

P.S.  Notice that I actually did a list with 36 different news bits about Lauren...one for each month.  I did this when she was younger, but don't keep up anymore.  She's a joy in our lives and changes daily.
