2010 in Review

JANUARY:  I had my first slumber party with my friend Reegan.  What a way to start the new year.
FEBRUARY:  I got a new bed.  I moved out of my crib into my big girl bed.  Right now, I like to sleep on my couch or with Sophie in her bed (for just part of the night).

MARCH:  Heaven gained another angel as we said good-bye to my Great-Grandma Jean.
APRIL:  I learned about baseball season and the MN Twins.  I would say "Justin No-no" and "Joe Mama".  I've grown up since then and now can actually say their names...and "actually" too!

MAY:  I started singing my ABCs.

JUNE:  I turned two!  Then, I got to be a flower girl in Uncle Neil and Aunt Jada's wedding.  I was not sure about walking down the aisle.  My favorite part was the dance!  We found out that my daddy passed a BIG test!  He is now a professional engineer.  Did you know he works in "Rosebille?"  Mommy is still working at Courage Center.  For 6 weeks, she went to Stillwater on Tuesdays.  She's done with that and is now working in "Burnsbille" for 30 hours a week.
JULY:  I wear big girl underwear during the day.  I told mommy the beginning of this month that I did not want to wear pull ups.  I also learned to peddle my bike this summer.  I push the peddles to make my bike go.  Grandma Marilyn and Grandpa John stayed with me for the weekend.  Mommy and daddy got to go on vacation for their 5 year anniversary.  They just stayed in the area and went to the Leinne's brewery and a MN Twins game.

AUGUST:  I don't want to wear pull ups at night either.  I talked mommy and daddy in to letting me wear big girl underwear at night too.  It's official, I'm potty trained.  I also got a new cousin.  Meegan Marie was born 6 weeks early to my Aunt Mary and Uncle Greg.  I love to hold her and help give her a bottle.

SEPTEMBER:  Mommy and daddy got to go to the Nebraska Huskers/SDSU football game and had a weekend getaway.  I got to stay home with Grandma Marilyn and Grandpa John at my house.
OCTOBER:  I got to tell the world that I'm going to be a BIG sister in March.  I also got to go Trick-or-Treating!  I LOVED Halloween and sometimes still ask to go "trick-or-treating".  I also liked handing candy out to the kids who came to our door as long as they weren't in scary costumes.

NOVEMBER:  I learned that I will get a baby brother in March.  Everything's going well.  I like to talk to my brother, give him hugs, and give him kisses.  We had our first big snow in MN.  I LOVE the snow, as long as its already on the ground.  It's no fun when it's still falling in my face.
DECEMBER:  I helped Mommy decorate the tree.  Then I watched as mommy and daddy put the lights outside.  I was so excited to put decorations up at our house.  Then we got a BIG snow.  Mommy says almost 22 inches in Shakopee.  It covered up most of the lights outside.  I'm still having fun getting ready for Christmas.  I saw Santa and didn't scream my head off this year.

Mommy says we've had a great year.  We look forward to adding new family members in 2011.  I can't wait to meet my brother.  I'm excited for my Aunt Noel's fiance, Rob, to join our family in April.  I get to wear a pretty dress and be the flower girl.  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!  Safe travels to all and to all a GOOD YEAR!
