Our good friend, Kisha, captured our little guy near our new house this October. He had just woken up from a nap and wasn't sure about this picture stuff at first. Kisha makes it so much fun...and she comes highly recommended from us! So, here is our big 1 1/2 year old...where does time go? He's definately an independently little big guy! :) So between 18-20 months, this is what our little man has been learning OR teaching us:
1. That he no longer likes to be strapped in to the booster at meals (he gave up the high chair when we moved in September!) He'd rather sit on his knees.
2. That he still LOVES Bubble Guppies and is saying it even more clear "Bubo" or "Guppy".
3. He LOVES Mickey Mouse Clubhouse too...
4. And any and all electronics...remotes "MOTE" and phones "says an approximation of this too".
5. He will dance to his favorite toons...like HOT DOG from Mickey Mouse.
6. Calls cars and anything with wheels "VROOM".
7. LOVES trains and likes to pick out his "choo-choo" jammies. (Thomas the Train).
8. Pretty much into 24 month/2T clothes...he can get by with 18-24 month jeans/pants if they are long enough.
9. He's got BIG feet already....wearing size 7s!
10. LOVES his Crocs (shoes) and will wear socks with them in the winter...fashion faux pau!
12. Still LOVES balls.
13. Knows who is Sophie and who is Charlie.
14. Starting to put 2-words together "Help please" is common.
15. Sleeps in a big-boy bed (since September again). Doing well sleeping from 8:30ish-6:00 or 6:30. Sometimes on the weekends he'll sleep until 7:30 or 8!
16. Likes to swim and jump in, but didn't want ANYTHING to do with swimming lessons.
17. Loves to do "this little piggy" and play "get you".
18. Tries to figure out how to put lids on and take them off.
