As usual, for Thanksgiving, we headed back to Sioux Falls to spend some quality time with family and friends. We had our first celebration around noonish with Grandma Sandi and Papa Bruce's side. We had lots of yummy food for lunch time there. The kiddos had fun playing and we enjoyed visiting. Then we headed to Grandma Bonnie's and Grandpa Dave's for the evening meal with my side of the family. We again enjoyed lots of yummy food and fellowship with family. We were only missing Neil, Jada, and Cianna from Alaska (for immediate family). Friday early AM, I got to spend shopping with my mom and sister, Noel. It was great because 6am shopping was dead. Everyone who went out the previous night was sleeping and the normal people who sleep on Black Friday weren't up yet! Brian and I got a lunch date on Friday and then did a tiny bit of shopping together. Friday night, we hung out with good friend, Chris Lehrer, and a friend of his. Lots of fun had by all...and we even closed down the bar. It was again good to catch up. Saturday, we had breakfast with my family again and I got to have a nice visit with my Grandpa Vernie as well as a cousin (Mark). Saturday evening, we had Thanksgiving celebration with Grandma Marily and Gramps. Sure was nice to catch up with everyone. Sunday we traveled back to the cities in time for swimming lessons for Lauren at 4:30. Here are some random pictures from the weekend.
