Home Sweet HOME!

Nice big truck!  TERRIBLE experience...DO NOT USE these movers!

They did know how to pack; they were just not timely let's say!

Grandma Bonnie knew how to pack too!

The kids LOVE the space.  They are playing in Nolan's closet!

Lauren got to pick her color of her room.  HOT PINK!  Grandma Bonnie painted!

Lauren's enjoying snack in our formal dining room.  The stairway goes up to 3 bedrooms and 2 baths.

Unpacking boxes in the kitchen and informal dining room.

Family room with more boxes and a wood burning fireplace.

Awesome backyard with a FENCE=dog HEAVEN!

Yep!  Nolan approves!
It's official.  We MOVED!  We decided we were busting at the seems and wanted to be settled in a bigger house prior to Lauren starting kindergarten.  We started looking in July, thinking it would take until next spring.  Well, we found our dream home the end of July and started the ball rolling.  We were supposed to close on September 14th, but things got pushed back until September 19th.  Let's say this move has been anything but smooth.  It started off with more plumbing issues at the townhouse.  Then progressed to having the move pushed back.  Luckily, Brian's dad and Sandi came to move boxes from garage to garage on the day we closed (even though we both had to work).  My mom came up that Wednesday too, to help paint Lauren's room HOT pink (just as she requested!)  We hired movers to help with the big stuff on Thursday morning.  The first guy of the 2 man crew came 2-3 hours late and the 2nd guy didn't show up until 2 hours later!  The damaged the walls at the townhouse a bit, and what we thought would take all morning took ALL day!  Things were delayed, but going smoothly.  Friday morning, Brian's mom also came.  She's another one that has made multiple trips to help clean the townhouse and pack boxes!  Friday night the grandma's took the kiddos and Brian and I had a date.  We made a trip to IKEA to get essentials such as window treatments and another table.  We spent Saturday and Sunday unpacking.  My mom brought her sewing machine and helped hem up the curtains.  Another set back was on Saturday when the fridge started leaking everywhere.  (The seller used someone cheap to install it and they did a CHEAP job, so he came out to fix the issue on Monday).  Sunday, we got to meet some of our neighbors.  Lauren's excited about the 4-year-old girl that lives next door.  She's enjoyed "bossing" her around.  It's apparent who's the "leader" even though she was playing on the little girl's swing set!  So far we like the neighborhood and LOVE the mature trees.  There's a beautiful park with a small lake within walking distance and it's really close to LOTS of places!  It's quiet and we'd LOVE to have you come and visit.  This move would have been even more challenging if it weren't for the LOVE and SUPPORT from our families and our friends.  Thanks to all who helped.
