This year, we went to a new place to get our pumpkin. We went to Pahl's, a greenhouse business, in Apple Valley. We tried something different in our new area! It was so FUN! (Mom and dad would say that it was cost effective too!) They didn't have apple trees, but we wanted a pumpkin anyways and they had thousands! They had fun stuff to do too. The weather was sunny, but a bit chilly. Look at what we got to do and it was FREE (besides our pumpkin and the jumpy house). :)

| We got to play in a corn pool! At first, Nolan was not sure about it. |
| Then he had fun with me. We filled up our shoes. Nolan even found corn in his diaper when we were done! |
| I buried my feet! |
| And tried to go swimming! |
| Actually, I was just posing for pictures today. Kinda like being a model. Check out my shoes filled with corn! |
| Famous phrase by Nolan, "UP." And some times "UP pease." |
| They also had a hay maze. Even Nolan went running! |
| I posed for more pictures! |
| But mom had a hard time catching Nolan from the front! |
| Me cheesing! |
| Nolan still not looking at the camera! |
| He's wanting up again...but mom kinda got his face this time! |
| We got to choose a pumpkin from lots and lots! |
| Lauren went in the jumpy hows shaped like a pumpkin. It cost a dollar! |
She was sad because Nolan wouldn't come in. (You had to go through this burst of wind that made him scared.) That and he'd rather stay outside and eat the free popcorn!
We HIGHLY recommend Pahl's! It's totally reasonable...cost us less than $10 for a pumpkin to carve, 2 baby pumpkins, and a morning of fun. They had a small park, corn pool, hay maze, lots of pumpkins to chose from, free popcorn, and a pumpkin jumpy house. |
