Easter at the MN Zoo

This year, we didn't travel for Easter.  Brian's been busy at work and we just celebrated Nolan's birthday with many family members the week before.  We opted to have a relaxing (kinda) weekend at home.  I say kinda because Brian worked on Saturday and we did celebrate Easter by going to church and the zoo to visit all the animals.  We enjoyed the day as a family at the zoo...highlights include:  eating lunch there, hearing the monkeys squeal, watching them swing from branch to branch, seeing some different monkeys play with sunglasses, hearing the tigers "talk", and visiting the farm babies.  Even Nolan petted the goats and pigs!

Nolan liked the fish.

He liked being out of the stroller more!

Listening to the monkeys squeal.

Colorful coral, but very few fish.  Maybe next time?

The bears came right up to the window.

Petting the goats...Lauren even fed them.

Walking at the farm.  Notice how much he is NOT in the stroller!

Driving the tractor like Grandpa Dave!
