12 months: The year flew by!

Nolan here.  I'm getting ready for bed, so I gotta keep it short.  Mama tells me that I should update the blog with what I'm currently up to now that I'm one!  I'm one busy boy.  I had to brush my teeth while mommy was taking my pictures!  Give me a break okay?!  I had a BUSY weekend celebrating ME!  You'll have to wait on the party post till later though.

Here's what I've been doing lately:
1.  Walking 8-10 steps at a time by myself.
2.  Cruising furniture.
3.  Climbing up the stool to stand by my sister.
4.  Playing basketball.  My first word was "ball".
5.  Clapping my hands, usually after I've done something to impress myself.
6.  Clapping hands sometimes to play patty cake.
7.  I also like when people play peek-a-boo and this little piggy with me.
8.  I like to be outside.
9.  I like to eat big people food.
10.  I drink my milk from a sippy cup; no bottles for me!
11.  I still like to nurse.  That's my kinda pacifier!
12.  Besides ball, I also say mama, dada, uh oh, and more
13.  I throw my hands in the air to sign "all done".
14.  I take 1 or 2 naps per day.
15.  I sleep through the night from 9pm to 6:30am.
16.  I am a social guy....I LOVE people and HATE to be alone.
17.  I like to play with balls and cars.  I like to talk on the phone.
18.  I LOVE to play with remotes.  I know that they turn on the TV.
19.  I like to watch Mickey Mouse, Team OomieZoomie, and Bubble Guppies (especially with my sister).
20.  I like my sister.
21.  Bath time is fun.
22.  I LOVE life.

Okay, so that's me.  Now it's bed time!  Good-night!
Oh and here's info on my well check from 4/5/12:
Mommy and Lauren took me to the doctor.  I like him.  His name is Dr. Spike and I reached toward him to be held.  I met his nurse, Sonja, too.  She measured me.  She put a crown on my head and called me a prince.  She measured how tall I am and then she made me sit naked on a scale.  Geesh people, clothes can't weigh that much.  Anyways, if ya wanna check out my stats see the side of our blog.  I was in the 57% for weight and 78% for height.  Then we talked about my skin issues.  I have eczema and sensitive skin.  Maybe I have allergies.  I just know that sometimes my skin itches and sometimes it randomly turns red.  Dr. Spike said to keep an eye on it and maybe take some medicine.  Then Sonja came back.  She took me from mommy.  Then mommy helped hold me and she gave me THREE shots.  Darn right I SCREAMED!  It HURT.  I wanted them to know how I felt.  Then I calmed down because mommy picked me up and got me ready to go.  Little did I know that I had another lovely surprise coming.  Instead of leaving, she took me to this place called the "LAB".  I sat on mommy's lap in a chair.  Then another lady came and gave me a sticker.  Nice huh?  UNTIL SHE POKED ME!  She had to steal some blood from me.  Again, I don't know WHY!  She has her OWN blood.  I didn't have a choice though.  I cried, but it hurt.  I was glad when we were done.  Then I got to leave.  Mommy got a call later saying that my hemoglobin was a tad bit low.  Now I have to take my multivitamin with iron every day.  Then I have to be checked again next year.  Ughh!  At least I don't have to think about it for another year.  No more doctor visits until 15 months unless there is a need!
