Last Wednesday night, we headed out of Minnesota and made our way to South Dakota: 2 adults, 2 kiddies, 2 dogs, and an SUV packed full of our stuff! We spent Wednesday night through Sunday morning celebrating Thanksgiving! We enjoyed conversations with friends and family. Thursday, we ate twice: at Grandma Sandi and Grandpa Bruces for lunch and then at Grandma Marilyn and Grandpa John's for supper. Mommy snuck in a hug from Great-grandpa Vernie in between! On Thursday night, mommy, Grandma Bonnie, and Aunt Mary took Karina shopping at 11:30p.m. for Black Friday deals. Mommy said she waited TWO hours in line to pay at Target and that she would NEVER go to Target on Black Friday again! They got some deals and then came home to sleep at 4:00 a.m.! Then, I had a Grandma Bonnie day because my mom and dad went out to lunch with their friend, Chris Lehrer. They came back to hang out with us afterwards. My cousin, Meegan, was there too. We had fun playing. Mommy ran the Jingle Bell 5K for arthritis on Friday night. I got to see her finish the race. Mommy was happy with her time of 30:01, especially since that's the first time she's done a 5K in a long, long time (in over a year and a half). After the 5K, I went to a parade. I'll show you pictures and tell more about that another time. Saturday, I went to my first movie. Again, I'll go into details later. Sunday was a busy day of travels.
