He's 5 months!

He's EATING:

*Loves oatmeal with bananas, carrots, squash, and sweet potatoes.

*Hates rice cereal and has even gagged on it!

*Has tried peas, but seems undecided at this time.

*Held the bottle on his own briefly.

*Still likes to nurse and eats a lot.

*Has started getting up for a midnight snack (feeding between 11-3am) 1x.

 

He's SLEEPING:

*But not always through the night.

*See above.

*Last night he was up every two hours...I'm thinking it has to do with the new foods and constipation.  He did eat 1x.

*He's a cat napper during the day. 

*He takes 3 naps at daycare averaging between under an hour and close to two hours.

He's PLAYING:

*Briefly sits by himself and I mean briefly!

*Loves tummy time, but this is nothing new.

*Rolls all over the floor.

*Pushes up on his arms and puts his booty in the air.  (I'd say he's getting ready to crawl!)

*Reaches for toys.

*Loves the soft, crinkly books, his playmat, and the jumperoo.

*Still likes the bouncy seats, but barely fits.

 

He's BIG:

*No exact figures, but...

*He's moving out of 6-12 month clothes and right into 12-18 month stuff!

*Who knew that we would need shorts in size 12 month for this kiddo!

*He's a growing, healthy boy and for that we are THANKFUL!

He's CUTE and HAPPY:

*Still has BLUE eyes.
*Has hair that any teenager would pay for (aka dark tips and blonde roots!)
*His hair is curly in the humidity and kinda crazy all the time!
*His giggles could put a smile on anyone's face.

He's our BOY and we LOVE him!
