Because we have lots of family from "out of town", we are throwing 2 parties for Lauren. Her first one was last Saturday (May 28, 2011). We rode out the storm (typical for any time we try to throw Lauren a birthday party!) Then, set up the party in the garage. We grilled out burgers, brats, and hot dogs. I made a Tinkerbell cake, and had so much fun decorating that I also decorated cupcakes and sugar cookies! Guests included: Grandma Marilyn, Gramps John, Aunt Alyssa, Great Uncle Bruce, Heidi, Reegan, Renner, Jason, Jackie, Ethan, and Gavin. The kids had fun playing on the riding toys outside. We all ate and then watched Lauren open presents. Thanks to all of you who helped celebrate Lauren's birthday! We're looking forward to party number two on June 11th.
