I could really get into this stuff called "trick or treating". Mommy and daddy let me practice at home first. I LOVE the treat part most of all. You see, I dressed up in this lion costume and then said "trick or treat". Then, I got a yummy treat! Easy as that! Of course, I said thank-you too...but what's NOT to love about trick or treating when you have a sweet tooth!
After I practiced at home, Reegan and her mommy, Heidi, took mommy and me to the zoo. We got to see the animals, but my favorite part was getting the treats! "Trick or Treat!" I would say and then, I would get a treat...I responded with "thank-you". Then, we had lunch, just us girls!Us riding the turtle.
I was a lion and Reegan was a bumble bee! There were lots of people and only a few treats! I think the animals were scared too, because they were hiding. LOTS of people.
We liked playing in the water by the dolphins!
When I got home Grandma Marilyn and Aunt Alyssa were there! (After my nap of course!) I was tired after "HallZOOween!" I got to spend the weekend with Grandma and Alyssa! Grandma and I practiced trick or treating again! Let me tell you a secret...I don't really need the practice, but I'll do it for a treat!
Here's me ready to go trick or treating for real! I couldn't wait...I chose my gray pants and daddy's socks! Mommy said at least daddy's socks will keep you warm! (And the pants to my lion costume were a bit to long for me).
Reegan and I took our parents trick or treating around the neighborhood. We held this ghost's hands and got a great picture! Everyone thought we were so cute, so we usually got extra candy. We both liked ringing the doorbell and so each house got it a couple times or more.....the adults told us to take turns, so we did. We just did more than one turn at a house. Oops!
I came home with a bucket full of candy after just over an hour of trick or treating. I kept wanting to go to more houses, but who wouldn't if ya keep getting all those goodies! Then when I got home, I got to hand out candy to a few trick or treaters. I stayed away from the spooky costumes, but helped with the fun ones like SpongeBob!
After my Halloween snack of a few pieces of candy and then some cheese and milk, I relaxed on the couch. Then mommy read me a few Halloween books. What a great way to celebrate Halloween! I LOVE this holiday!
