On Saturday, I got a surprise....Grandma Marilyn & Grandpa John came up to stay with me. Only, this trip was just for me & Grandma & Grandpa. Mommy & daddy left us at home and drove away in our"SUB" (aka SUV) as I waved bye-bye. I'm not sure what Mommy & Daddy did or where they went, but I had fun. Grandma & Grandpa & I went on a walk, to the park, to Target, & to a 4
th of July celebration in Eden
Prairie. And guess what, I got to wear my big girl underwear! I'll tell you more about that later! Now I'll let Mommy tell you about her vacation.

Brian & I took a little "getaway" for our 5
th Anniversary. We left on Saturday a little before noon and headed to Chippewa Falls,
WS. We toured the
Leinenkugel's Brewery. We also did a little "kid-free" shopping and went out to eat twice!

We stayed downtown Minneapolis at Graves 601 Hotel, where we could see Target Field from our hotel room. We were on the 11
th floor...a floor I can't imagine being on if we had Lauren and all her stuff with us! Our hotel as amazing...4 stars; however, we were afraid to touch anything for fear of being charged. I our room, we had 3 phones, 2 TVs (including a big screen in the living space & a smaller one in the bathroom), a sitting area with a fridge (filled with food that we will probably get charged or because we removed some of the alcohol to store our milk)....
Yah, that's right, we brought in our own breakfast instead of paying the $12 for a bowl of cereal, milk, juice, and hot chocolate! We created our OWN room service...and took a picture to make sure we put all of the alcohol back in the correct spots in the fridge!

Probably our favorite part of the "trip" was going to Target Field to see the Twins play (even though they didn't win).

We walked over to Target Field nice and early (about 11:00 am) for the 1:10 start, because we wanted to checkout the new stadium and to try to get the free
bobbleheads of Minnie & Paul. We were thinking we were too late, but in the end we grabbed our
bobbleheads.....even after seeing a crazy lady yelling at her hubby in front of her kids (and the rest of the crowd for that matter) for choosing the wrong line....AND she still ended up getting her
bobblehead too! We had GREAT seats in the upper deck behind home plate
courtesy of Brian's work. Even though it was supposed to storm, the weather was great....warm with a light breeze. Check out our pics:

Thanks bunches Grandma Marilyn & Grandpa John for watching Lauren! We had a GREAT 5th Anniversary!
