This morning, mommy and daddy actually woke ME up! I was not sure about this bye-bye thing at 6:30 am on a weekend, but whatever I've learned as a kiddo you don't always have a choice. Besides that, I got a chocolate doughnut, grapes, and milk for breakfast! We drove to Golden Valley to the company mommy works for, Courage Center. When we got there, we met up with some of mommy's co-workers and then we registered to walk a 5K from Courage Center to Target Field. Mommy and daddy brought my stroller....but even though it was a 5K your way....I wanted to run, walk, go on daddy's shoulders (or mommy's), or be carried in some form. I DID NOT want my stroller and only rode in it for a very short stretch! Needless to say, my legs were not as long as everyone else's (probably anyone else's), so we brought up the tail end.
That's okay, cuz we still got to see TC (the Twin's mascot) and hang out at Target Field when we got done. I even got to eat a Dilly Bar before lunch....I was one of 750 lucky people....and then I also had a hot dog before 10:00....but don't worry, it still tasted good!
Another neat part was telling Michael Cuddyer "hi Michael"; he was impressed with my shirt (I wear his number!) I had him write on my shirt and didn't even get in trouble for it! My all time favorite part of our outing though was the bus ride from Target Field back to mommy's car! It was so cool....you missed out on a fun time (if you weren't there, you should come next year!)
