I got a new auntie!

Last weekend, I went back to South Dakota for Uncle Neil and Aunt Jada's wedding. Mommy told me I had a big job to do. She also said that Jada was going to officially be my aunt! Mommy and I drove to South Dakota on Thursday morning. Then we went to Humboldt to help decorate and make salads. I even helped pick grapes off the stems! Grandma and mommy told me that we were getting ready for a dance and a big party. Sounds like fun to me!

On Friday, we went to church. I wore a pretty special dress. Mommy said something about Uncle Neil wearing this same dress for play when he was a little boy. Boy, when Uncle Neil saw me, he got the biggest smile on his face that I've ever seen. The dress was a hit with Aunt Mary and Aunt Noel too. Anyways, we went to church on Friday to practice for the wedding on Saturday. I met Reagan, the other flower girl. Now, I don't no much about being a flower girl, but I know that I get to wear a pretty princess dress! And I'm supposed to WHAT!?

Stand in front of the church. Oh, I can do that....when the church is empty anyways.

On Saturday, Mommy and Grandma fixed my hair. Then I got to put on my pretty dress. Aunt Jada had a beautiful dress too. We took some pictures.....I got out of a few......Maybe they'll have to pay me like Grandma and Grandpa paid Uncle Neil growing up.

This was a free picture for Mommy from Uncle Neil. Uncle Neil and Aunt Jada's dog, Hope, was the ring bearer.

Between pictures and church, I took a nap with Daddy. Then, I thought Mommy was crazy to ask me to walk down the aisle with a packed church. No way Jose! I did not want to go by myself or with Reagan for that matter. Reagan did just fine without me!

After church, we watched the wedding party leave in limos! Two of them...and let me tell you those are BIG cars! Then we drove to Humboldt. I told Daddy about wind generators on the way. I guess the big party was in Humboldt. I saw some of my grandpas and grandmas when we got to the party. We ate...okay not me...but Mommy and Daddy did. We watched Uncle Neil and Aunt Jada cut the cake.

And then...was my favorite part of all........the DANCE! I danced the night away....until about 10pm when I asked to go ni-night. Now, if they would've had the dance first....maybe, just maybe I would've walked down the aisle!

Congratulations Uncle Neil and Aunt Jada! Welcome to the family (officially) Jada! We love you. Mommy said she got a great birthday present this year....another sister!
