Christmas with the Heidemann's

Yesterday was an action-packed, fun-filled day for me. I had so much fun because my Grandpa Bruce and Grandma Sandi AND Auntie Alyssa came up to visit. Not just any visit, they came to hangout like normal, but they also brought presents. And, I gave them presents. Mommy says that we were celebrating Christmas...the holiday with all the lights and pretty trees and pretty music too. First we opened presents. I had lots of turns, but everyone else got a turn too. Grandpa and Grandma got turn.

Then I got a turn. I really liked ripping the paper!

And playing with the toys. I got some Dora books! They were so fun to read with daddy. I can already tell that daddy will need to buy more batteries!

I wasn't quite sure of one present. A "BACUUM! toy." (Lauren is very much afraid of our vacuum and as you can see her jaw dropped to the floor in awe of her toy vacuum!)

(But don't worry, Lauren warmed up to her new toy vacuum and we're making a step in the right direction to overcome her fear of vacuums maybe?)

I got to hang out with Auntie "Issa" too.

We went to Dave and Buster's to eat our Christmas supper.

I had spaghetti! I ate it with my "left hand" using my spoon...and then gave up and shoveled it in faster with my hands.

I had fun going around our table to visit Grandpa and Grandma and Daddy and then back to Mommy of course. Then after we were done eating, we got to go play games.

I won lots of tickets by pulling this handle and watching the lights.

Daddy and Grandpa also raced. I won't say who won, but I know they both had fun! Look at the smile on Daddy's face.

By the end of the night, I figured out how to use the credit card thingy to play these fun games. I didn't even want anyone's help any more. "Do it" I would say! (This is a scary thing for my mommy...since she knows I like shopping and now I like the credit card too!)

I had fun riding a jet ski too even though I couldn't reach the pedals. I even won a crazy straw glass and a ball (with the help of everyone, including myself) and we got Grandpa and Grandma a glass.

Then we all went back to my house. We ate the yummy pumpkin pie that mommy made us. Then it was time to say bye-bye to Grandpa and Grandma and Aunt Alyssa. They had to drive back to Sioux Falls.
