2009 In Review

As the year comes to a close, I want to wish you Merry Christmas! Looking back at the past year, we did lots of learning and lots of growing. Here's a synapse month by month:

JANUARY: My Aunt Mary married my Uncle Greg. I was the honorary flower girl.

FEBRUARY: My Daddy was laid off from his job. I got lots of bonding time as he spent some time looking for a new job and staying at home with me.

MARCH: I started walking.

APRIL: I had a stay-cation with Grandma Marilyn while Mommy & Daddy took a trip to Spokane, WA for a job interview.

MAY: I saw my first Twin's game in the Metrodome.

JUNE: I had my first birthday celebration and took my first plane ride (to Arizona to visit my Great Grandparents and other family members. I also started gymnastics.

JULY: I went back to daycare. Yipee! Daddy got a job in the Twin Cities. No need to move.

AUGUST: I enjoyed the warmer weather going to the pool, swimming in my pool at home, going to the zoo, and going to the park.

SEPTEMBER: Mommy & daddy tried to take me to another Twin's game with Grandma & Grandpa Kahl....I just could not sit to watch the game. I had fun at the apple orchard with Grandpa John and Grandma Marilyn though.

OCTOBER: I celebrated Great grandpa Vernie's 90th Birthday party in Inwood with him.

NOVEMBER: I said good-bye to Great grandma Agnes. Mommy says she's now a pretty angel in heaven.

DECEMBER: I started going potty on the big girl potty. It's a work in progress, but I'm rather interested. Oh and I beat the big snow storm back to South Dakota for Christmas.
