Merry Christmas! Happy New Year! I have been a busy little traveler, so no time to post until now. I very much enjoyed my first Christmas. Here's how I celebrated: I got to wear my pretty red dress to go to church with mommy & daddy on Christmas Eve. My favorite part of that special time was dropping my book and then mommy & daddy would give it back to me. Silly parents! When they gave it back, I would drop it again! I also liked the songs and especially the one called "silent night" because they lit candles. Candles look fun. I really wanted to touch one but mommy & daddy didn't let me. They say candles are HOT! After church on Christmas Eve, we took some pictures. Then we ate supper and opened gifts. I liked the paper best, but got some cool toys too. Daddy got me a Cowboys outfit so I'm ready to cheer for my favorite team next football season. Mommy says she still likes the
Vikes.

Next on Christmas morning, I got everyone up and ready to go. We piled into our SUV like sardines and headed to South Dakota. I didn't mind the drive and we stopped at a truck stop to eat
cuz nothing else was open. Some grandma ladies thought I looked cute and tried to talk to me...but they scared me so I cried! I don't EVER plan to talk to strangers! I did enjoy people watching and sitting in a big girl chair to eat my cereal and baby food. Yummy! Then it was back in the car with a quick stop to relax at Grandma Marilyn & Grandpa John's before heading to another state, Iowa! Yep three states in one day! Now you see why I was a busy baby! We celebrated Christmas in Iowa with mommy's extended family. I got to see my Great Grandparents and my aunts, uncles, and cousins. It was okay, but I
definitely prefer my mommy! Mommy & daddy had a nice visit with the "extended family" though. After our family Christmas celebration, I went back to Sioux Falls to meet mommy & daddy's friend Chris. He lives in Colorado now, so this is the first time I've met him. I liked his beard.
On Friday, I actually had some downtime and got to relax. Grandma and I had a
playdate so mommy & daddy could "go out". I don't know why they would want to "go out" because its so darn cold outside right now. I wouldn't want to go out. I'm glad I got to stay with Grandma & Grandpa.
On Saturday, I had another busy day...celebrating Christmas with daddy's families. First with Grandma Marilyn, Grandpa John, and Aunt Alyssa. We opened presents, had yummy lunch, and played cards. Then it was off to Grandma Sandi & Grandpa Bruce's extended family. We had lots of people in a
living room. I got to see my cousin Rayna and we even shared toys. I opened more presents and then I ate with mommy & daddy. After that, I fell asleep on the way to Grandma Sandi & Grandpa Bruce's house. I snoozed while my rents played a game and woke up just in time for them to eat supper! I love food...so they let me try banana pieces. Then we opened more presents and I went back to Grandma Marilyn & Grandpa John's to sleep! Boy was I tired.

But, my Christmas celebrations didn't end there! Gosh, how long is this Christmas holiday anyways?! Last weekend, on another holiday called New Years, we went to Grandma Bonnie & Grandpa Dave's. Once again, I was a good little traveler. I didn't quite stay up to welcome in the new year, but mommy & daddy were okay with that! On New Years Day, I hung out with Grandma
Bonnie, Grandpa Dave, my aunties Mary & Noel, my uncles Neil & Greg, and some cool friends Jada & Rob. And once again, we ate, ate some more, and opened gifts.

Thanks to everyone for making my first Christmas so special. I had fun. Now it's time to rest up for the busy weeks to come.
