7 months!

So now that I'm seven months old, I definately prefer my mommy's cell phone over my toys any day! Check out how fast I am scooting to it in the video below. I would crawl, but scooting is soo much faster. When I try to crawl with my tummy off the ground, I usually fall anyways after a few attempts. I'm just sooo much faster on my tummy. I can even chase my puppies and boy do I ever love to grab at them. Being mobile is the biggest highlight of being seven months old. But here are some other tibits:

1. People! Mommy's my favorite, but I like daddy too. Except I only want to be with my mommy if I can see or hear her. Mommy says she loves it when she gets home from work. As soon as I see her, I start giggling and scoot towards her as fast as I can.
2. Hands! I'm getting very good at using my hands. I can find my pacifier in my crib most of the time. I will also grab it and put it in my mouth. Sometimes my nuk is upside down, but I know how to fix it. I can also move my pacifier and my toys from hand to hand.

3. Eating! I still love to eat. My favorite foods are mac 'n' cheese and real bananas. I got a baby food grinder from Santa and I have been able to eat a whole banana at one time!

4. Sleeping! Well, I decided it was time for a change. I've been such a good sleeper since 5 weeks old. I've decided to keep mommy and daddy on their toes. Most of the time I sleep through the night. But sometimes, I just cry to make sure they're around. I drag them out of bed and then I go back to sleep. Sometimes I get hungry and need a midnight snack.

5. Mobility! I am mobile. Some people would like to say that I did crawl on Christmas Day. I'm really good at scooting all over the house. I haven't quite figured out how to keep my tummy off the floor and move my arms and legs at the same time! Okay, so I have gone a few movements, but I'm still not quite good at it yet. Mommy videotaped me on Christmas Eve and I've been scooting since before that.

So that's my life as a seven month old! I'm growing like a weed and changing every day. Mommy, Daddy, Charlie, Sophie, and I are having fun and staying busy. I love to see who checks in on us so please keep in touch.
