Hey everyone! Just a quick update. I've been really busy so I should be sleeping in my crib. I just wanted to let you all know how excited I am to get a new uncle. Okay, so I still like my mommy & daddy best. But mommy & daddy are excited to welcome uncle Greg to the family. We had a crazy wedding weekend that started on Thursday when mommy, Sophie, Charlie, and I once again went back to Sioux Falls. Mommy says I was a super traveler and we didn't even need to stop once during our drive! Uncle Greg bought us lunch at his & Aunt Mary's new house. Then I helped run some wedding errands with Grandma Bonnie & mommy. I got to stay with Grandpa Dave while mommy & Uncle Greg went to get his fancy pants for the wedding. Then I met some more members of my family on mommy's side--my Great-Great Aunt Sharon & My Great Aunt Cindy.
On Friday, I went to this coolish building to help decorate for a big party. What's a party? I'm not quite sure...but I do know that the decorations were sweet. I loved the lights! Then on Friday evening, I got to spend time with daddy & Grandma Marilyn & Grandpa John. Mommy had to go practice for the wedding that happens before the big party. Then daddy left me and went to celebrate with mommy and the rest of the family. They told me that they went bowling too. Great-great Aunt Sharon loves to bowl. I was in bed when mommy & daddy got home.
I didn't see mommy much on Saturday, so I kinda missed her. Mommy went to get pretty for the big day with Auntie Mary & Auntie Noel, and some other girls. I stayed and napped and played with daddy and Grandma Marilyn & Grandpa John. We had fun and then I got to put on my pretty dress. Daddy and I went on a date and met up with mommy. I was excited to see mommy, but not excited when she gave me up to smile for pictures. You see they called me a honorary flower girl, so I was supposed to take pictures with pretty princess Auntie Mary & Uncle Greg. But what I don't get is why I didn't have any flowers. Mommy had a pretty bouquet but she was not the flower girl. She was the Matron of Honor! I just don't understand! Anyways, I wanted mommy so I cried during pictures unless mommy held me. Then during the ceremony, daddy and I watched from the back. I met up with mommy again at the big party with the lights. But mostly I hung out with lots of different people at the reception. Grandma Marilyn made sure that I ate my supper. My Great Auntie Cindy got me ready for bed and fed me snack. I had fun at the party. I stayed longer than Aunt Mary & Uncle Greg. I felt so bad when they had to leave early because Aunt Mary got sick. I hope she gets better quick so she can sneak me in her suitcase to take me with them to Hawaii! I'm so excited to welcome Uncle Greg to the family.
