PRESCHOOL!

On Monday, I started preschool.  I don't go to daycare any more.  Instead, I get to drop my brother off with mommy and then go on to preschool!  (That means mommy has TWO drop offs in the mornings, cuz Nolan isn't old enough for preschool yet!)

Check out my BIG backpack.  I picked it out.  Did you know that we had a HARD time finding backpacks at this time of year?  Mommy said that TJMaxx is a GREAT place to go.  I got to choose between this Hello Kitty one and a Disney Princesses one.

Here is my locker.  I put my coat, boots, and snowpants here.

My class is called the "Happy Hearts".  My teacher's name is Miss Anita.  She was sick all week though, so my teacher this week was Miss Jeni.

We have a train table in my classroom.

Here is our reading area.

This is my friend, Rylee.  We are playing in our sand table.  It's one of my favorite things at preschool.

My teacher, Miss Jeni, said that I had a GREAT first day of preschool and that I fit in well.

This week, our theme was dinosaurs.  I created the "Laurenosaurs" that lived "in the trees".  It was "5 feet" tall, and "5 inches" long.

This is my math worksheet.

I traced the shapes in this dinosaur.

Can you find my name?  I wrote it all by myself!
I had a GREAT week at preschool.  I told my mom that my favorite part was playing outside and playing in the gym.  On Tuesday, I fell off the swing and got my clothes all wet.  I thought it was funny.  On Wednesday, we didn't get the balls out in the gym.  We played games instead.  We played "who's got the dinosaur bone" and "hot potato".  I told dad that I don't like the boys in my class.  When he asked why, I told him that they said I'm short.  (Mommy says that I'm littler because most of the kids are 4-5 years old already.  I'm 3 1/2.

Nolan still goes to daycare at Nicole's house.  She told my mom that Nolan sometimes looks for me at meal times.  I used to always give him his cup.  I think he still has fun there.  I'm sure he misses me.  I miss him too.  I'm ready for a mommy day, but looking forward to preschool again next week!
