Preschool update

Lauren seems to be adjusting to preschool quite well.  Well, she has to make mommy feel bad when I drop her off still (she cries).  This week, she actually requested staying at daycare instead of going to preschool.  I think it was probably due to a couple things:
1.  They were on spring break (for those that don't do before and after preschool care), so there was less structure at preschool.
2.  She MISSES her brother and wants to stay with him.
Anyways, she seems to have lots of fun at preschool too.  She's had 4 weeks of preschool now with themes focusing on dinosaurs, nursery rhymes, Easter, and fun week (spring break for some).  Lauren would tell you her favorite part is gym time or playing outside.  It took her less than a week to learn all of her new friends' names.  She did make a comment about not liking some of the boys the first week because they were picking on her because she was short.  (I find this funny, since she's been above the 50 percentile for length since she was born!)  She's short, because she's one of the younger kids at preschool!  She has been working on writing her name and gets most of the letters...l, a, e, and n seem to be easiest for her, but her r and u have come a long ways.  She's learning how to write other letters and numbers too.  I can't believe my baby is growing up so quickly.
Note from her teacher, Miss Anita.
