Actually, Lauren had swimming lessons, so her and I went to the YMCA first. Then we had a family "Superbowl Party". Apparently, by adding the word "party" to any routine activity (like eating on a Sunday night and just hanging out as a family), you can excite the kiddos! So, we had a "Superbowl Party" aka Sunday night family night last weekend! Our meal consisted of hot dogs, jello, and mac n cheese per request of Lauren. All the while, we had the superbowl on during the meal. Then it was half time..definately my favorite part...just to watch the kiddos. For the first time, Nolan really started jamin out! So cute to watch him crawl over to the TV near his sister without her trying to get away from him...and then both of them dancing. Nolan putting his hands up and Lauren shakin her booty! Of course, then there was the superbowl on with volume on loud during bath time....you see, it was just a bunch of "typical" Sunday evening events...but so much more when you add "PARTY" vocabulary!
