Celebrate Christmas: #4!

We celebrated Christmas just one more time in Sioux Falls on December 26th in the morning before we left for Minnesota.  It was a celebration with the "extended" Kahl family.  Or at least those who could make it...It was AMAZING to be able to spend time with the Best. Grandpa. Ever!  (Okay and it was fun to catch up with the rest of the fam too.)  My Grandpa Vernie is 92 this year and doing great...it's extra special to be able to spend time with him.  We did the Kahl tradition of having soup for Christmas dinner.  Well, soup and lefsa and Grandma's famous cinnamon rolls (thanks, Mary! They were perfect!), and bread...and of course homemade ice cream and toppings for dessert.  Along with the yummy food, we had an enjoyable visit.  Then it was time to take our very packed and busting at the seams SUV back to Shakopee....2 kiddos, 2 dogs, 2 adults, all our luggage, and many presents...and we made it WITHOUT stopping!  Our kiddos were amazing travelers on the way back!
Grandma Bonnie made Lauren a sweater!

Lauren gave Great-grandpa Vernie a present.

Nolan gave Aunt Jada kisses!

And lots of smiles!

We love our Great-grandpa "Bernie"!

Kisses for Grandpa Vernie.

Our family.

Nolan snoozing on Great-uncle Harrold.
