Visit with Dr. Spike

Today, mommy and I took my brother to visit Dr. Spike.  Mommy says that's our pediatrician and that we both go sometimes just to see how big we are.  It was Nolan's turn today.  Dr. Spike came in our room and my brother got a big smile on his face.  He did a great job for the most part.  Nolan let Dr. Spike look in his ears and mouth and eyes.  Dr. Spike says Nolan looks great and he's right on track developmentally.  He weighed 17 pounds, 10 ounces with his diaper off!  And he was almost 27 inches long.  No wonder my brother is already outgrowing all of his clothes.  Mommy just had to wash all the 9 month clothes and packed the box of 3-6 month stuff away.  The part of the appointment that my brother didn't like was the shots.  He SCREAMED to let us know that he was mad.  He was hungry too, so that didn't help matters.  After my mommy fed him, then he took a brief nap.  He liked to be held all the time today.  Mommy said he was a little "fussy" especially for him after getting shots.  I know how he feels though...I HATE shots too!

Oh, and Dr. Spike gave us the go ahead with introducing food!  This should be fun...we'll start cereal this weekend.  I hope mommy lets me help.
