.....IS BEING A MOM! I'm so privileged to have the opportunity of experiencing motherhood. :)
Today, we have been enjoying each other' company.
The morning started off with Lauren sleeping in until 7:30! Woo-hoo! And then Lauren and Brian made me chocolate chip pancakes and eggs for breakfast...Not such a good idea to let a toddler help even though she insisted. Although Lauren seems to understand "HOT", she decided to see for herself and touch a "HOT" pan. She's okay, but only after a cool rag, some ice, and lots of snuggles later. I'm okay now too, but let me tell you we felt AWFUL!
Then after breakfast, we went to the gym. Every time I drop Lauren off at "Kid's Stuff", she runs to the door and requests "Mommy hug" or "Mommy kiss". I cherish those requests and then Lauren runs to play at the sensory table or with the babies. After the gym, we went out for lunch, the 3 of us, to Culver's (one of my favorite places to go with Lauren). I even got a free Sundae out of the deal! 
And what a beautiful day to take in swinging, climbing, and sliding at the park. Now it's nap time and I think I'll relax and enjoy the peaceful afternoon.

She has such pretty brown eyes! We have those princess pajama's too! They get worn at least one full day every week. :)
