Happy 90th Birthday Great-grandpa Vernie!

Mommy, my puppies, and I made a quick trip to Sioux Falls last weekend. We left when I woke up on Saturday morning, a day I actually decided to sleep in until almost 7:30. We got to Sioux Falls shortly before lunch time. Then, I got to play with Grandma Marilyn, Papa John, and Auntie Alyssa. We ate, left Sophie and Charlie, and got back in the car again. This time, we went to Inwood, Ia. My Great-grandpa Vernie was celebrating his 90th Birthday! I had fun visiting with my Great Aunts and Uncles, my Cousins, and of course Great-grandpa and Grandma Kahl. We had his party at a church. Then after the party, my cousins and I went to the park to burn some energy or that's what mommy says anyways. Because after the park, we went to the Inwood restaurant...Great-grandpa Vernie's treat! Yummy! I'm so happy I got to spend Great-grandpa Vernie's special day with him!

I waved bye-bye to mommy.......

Then, I took off to explore the church.....

I found this room with chairs that were just my size. Mommy says that she probably sat in them when she went to Sunday school at this church or at play days.

I brought Great-grandma Agnes my snack. If mommy says no, ask grandma right?!
