Fun in the Sun!

This weekend (Friday) was finally nice enough to take Lauren to the pool "OUTSIDE". Here are some pictures, as she rather enjoyed it.

My mommy's right. I had tons of fun going to the big bath tub outside. I put on my "swimming suit" and went on a car ride to the Shakopee pool. You may think that this doesn't look like a pool, but more like a beach. I call it a "beach pool". I didn't have to worry about swimming with the fish or anything. I did enjoy swimming LIKE a fish. Mommy didn't get any pictures of that, because she was swimming with me! Anyways, we went with my friend Reegan and her mommy, Heidi.
Just checkin out the sand. It's a little different to walk on or run on. The sand feels squishy between my toes.

Reegan thought the sand felt good between her hands and in her mouth! She tried to eat it, but her mommy caught her! Yummy sand! I guess it was time for a snack.

We loved playing on the beach and in the water. It was fun to go swimming with our mommys.

Here we are eating our picnic lunch on the beach. I ate my sandwich all by myself.

I also drank lots of liquids. I had juice, my milk, and lots of mommys water.

I had fun running from mommy.

I found a table that was just my size. I had fun climbing on it and sitting down. This would be a great place to eat too.

On Sunday, while I was napping, Sophie and Charlie went swimming in my little pool. Sophie played with her ball in it and took a drink while standing in it.

Charlie kept a little more distance. He step in it once (with my mommy's help) and then jumped out. He took his drink from outside the pool. He preferred to lay in the grass.
