DAY ONE: June 18th
So a couple weeks ago, daddy dropped mommy and I off at this big place. We got in lots of lines. I kinda got scared of all the people towering over me while I sat in my stroller. Mommy says that we went to the airport on June 18th. She also says that the big lines were when we went through security. We even had to take our shoes off and put my stroller through this machine (xray). Lots of nice people helped us through security, then it seems like we were shopping in a mall! SO MUCH WORK just to go shopping! But then about 1 1/2 hours later, we got in this BIG car. Mommy says it was called an airplane. I thought they were so little in the sky, but boy do airplanes look big when they are on the road. I fell asleep right before take off and woke up from my nap on mommy's lap (about 1 1/2 hours later). Then, I ate lunch on mommy's lap and played on mommy's lap. When I got bored of mommy's lap, she took me to this tiny place that looked like a bathroom. Then I got more mommy's lap time. I did not like landing and had to cry a bit. I was glad to get out of the plane. Then we were in another big mall. Mommy's cousin, Mia, and her son, Elijiah, picked us up at the airport. Then we got in a real car and drove to Glendale, Az. where mommy's aunt, Judy, and my great-grandparents live. I went swimming and ate early. Then I was in bed by 7:30 cuz I was soo tired from skipping my afternoon nap.
DAY TWO: June 19th
I woke up at 4:30 AZ time. Mommy says my clock was off and I had a time changing to AZ time cuz in MN it was really 6:30 (my normal time I get up). Then I got to relax and hang out with some strangers that mommy called family. When I woke up from my nap, this cool lady named Judy fed me mac n cheese (my fav!). Judy is my mommy's aunt. She watched me while mommy got her nails done with Great-grandma Jean and Grandma Bonnie. Then Grandma Bonnie and mommy went out to eat with Papoo and Great-grandma Jean. I got some more pool time today cuz AZ is so HOT!
DAY THREE: June 20th
More chillin in Glendale at Great Aunt Judy's and Great Grandma Jeans...and so okay now they're not so much strangers. Mommy went out to lunch with her cousin, Mia. Then we hung out. After supper, we got to go to the zoo. I didn't see many animals though cuz they were all in bed when I got done playing in the water. Yep! I loved the splash pad. It was fun cuz the water shot up out of the ground. It helped cool me off. I enjoyed watching the big kids.
DAY FOUR: June 21st
Today, I got to go shopping with the group: my mommy, grandma, great-grandma, and great-aunts Cindy and Judy. We found some bargains and then went out to eat. It was fun to shop with the family. We had supper in the evening at Aunt Judy's. More family came over to visit. I got to meet Great-Great Aunt Sharon and mommy's cousins Bo, Sabrina, and Trent. Of course I played with the kids, Elijiah and Isaac.
DAY FIVE: June 22nd
Our last day. Another chill day. Lots of gabbing and lots of eating. Another family meal in the evening. Mommy says she enjoyed the whole trip, especially visiting with grandpa and grandma. She enjoyed the hot tub at Great-grandma Jean's. The hot tub must be something like a bathtub. I bet I would like it too.
DAY SIX: June 23rd
I didn't do much today. Just chilled out. Took a nap. Then I ate a quick lunch and left for the airport. It was a smaller airport. I liked running all over and tried to escape out the door. I laughed cuz I know I'm funny! I didn't really cry at all on this plane ride. Then I got to go to Grandma Bonnie and Grandpa Dave's house in Sioux Falls. What a deal! But I did miss daddy and Sophie and Charlie.
