My first Halloween

Me again. Lauren that is! Mommy and I had a busy day for my first Halloween. My friend Reegan came over to visit while her mommy and daddy were at work. Mommy dressed us up in these funny lookin outfits she called costumes. Reegan was a flower and I was a butterfly. They were a bit warm for in the house, but mommy got some pictures. Then we took off those costumes until evening time. Reegan's daddy picked her up when he got off of work. Then I took a nap from my busy day. When I woke up, mommy and daddy put me back in my costume and we went trick-or-treating at our neighbors' house. I really liked the crinkly stuff around the candy and once I figured out how to open it mommy & daddy took the candy away! My costume kept me warm while I was outside, but I didn't like to wear it inside. Mommy took it off while we ate. I got cereal in my hair, so mommy gave me a bath and put on my Halloween jammies. Then I put my butterfly coat back on when I went outside to the bonfire. It was fun to watch the fire. Mommy and daddy let me stay up a little later, but I was still in bed by 9:30 and slept until 7:45. I had a fun first Halloween!
