5 Months!

My life as a 5 month old!

I like to move around the floor.

I LOVE my feet! They are so fun. I think mommy & daddy are jealous because they can't put their feet in their mouths!



Mommy had to take lots of pictures when I turned 5 months old. She takes lots anyways.




I guess being a baby is lots of work. My daddy was feeding me one minute and....



I was asleep the next!


I love my rattle. I can even switch hands when I shake it.

Sitting all by myself!

Reading my book. Toys are sooo fun!



Highlights of being 5 months old:

1. I can eat big girl food in my high chair. I love my rice cereal and oatmeal. Daddy also gave me a cooked onion to suck on. I thought it tasted good, but mommy gagged!

2. There's more to life than nursing! Yep, I've cut meal time down from 45 minutes-1 hour to less than 30 minutes.

3. Playing wears me out, so even though I don't like naps, I take them. I usually fight sleep and fuss and fuss, but eventually sleep wins.
4. I like to roll all over to get my toys. I have fun trying to pet Sophie & Charlie. They are fun to watch too! I'm reaching for everything in sight. I sometimes pull hair and its really fun.
5. I still LOVE my jumperoo.
6. I like to talk to people and smile when they talk back to me.
7. I started sitting up all by myself, but only for a couple minutes at a time. That balancing stuff is hard work.
