Our Ford Escape took a dump on 41st and Marion road about 4:30pm on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. With the help of some nice people, friends and strangers alike, we pushed the car into the Wells Fargo lot, attempted to repair it there, then towed it to Sioux Falls Ford. They had someone come in special on Sunday to attempt repairs, but after hours of diagnosing determined it would have to wait until Monday! We were still able to head home later than normal, but in time for work Monday courtesy of Grandma Marilyn who loaned us get car. On Tuesday, we learned that the Escape had seen it's last ride as it would have cost us around $3500 to replace the engine! So we shopped mostly online and found our new wheels: the 2010 Buick Enclave! Thanks to all those who helped us through this crazy experience!
