He's almost 26 months and he's:

1. Found comfort items to sleep with including 3 blankets and usually a pile of matchbox cars!

2. Doing better with sleeping at night.  Well, going to sleep without us laying next to him in his big boy car bed.

3. Still waking up at night and making his way to our room, but not every night.

4. Starting to say "now I lay me" bedtime prayer.

5. Loves reading books...we stop at two at bedtime but he will look at books himself.  Some favorites are No David and Old, New, Red, Blue Disney Cars.

6. Loves puzzles and is starting to do up to 12 piece interlocking puzzles with just minimal help. They keep him busy for a long time.

7.  Favorite toys are puzzles, cars, trains, and balls.

8.  Favorite foods are bagels, yogurt, most fruit, Mac and cheese, corn dogs, and popcicles.

9.  He loves swimming.

10.  Starting to pedal his big boy bike. If only it'd be warm long enough to practice!

11. Plays on the big kid playground equipment at the park.

12.  Likes to say hi to everyone! Way less stranger anxiety than his sister....good bad or just plain different!

13. Totally wishes he could stay at preschool every Thursday that we drop Lauren off.

14.  Doesn't like loud noises.  He says "mommy too yawd!"

15.  Wears mostly 3ts, some 2t pants but most are getting too short. 

17.  His shoes are size 8!

18.  He saw his first movie: Epic and loved it!

19.  Likes to buckle his own carseat and it takes him a long time.

20.  Likes things his way...typical two year old!

21. Shows interest in potty training but still prefers diapers. He does tell is when poopy sometimes.

22.  Starting to help with chores including clearing dirty dishes off table, feeding dogs, and checking mail.

23.  Talking more...a favorite phrase is "I do it!"

24.  Taking naps but sometimes fighting them.

25.  Loves all electronics and even had favorite movies including Cars, Cars 2, Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc., and Chipmunks Chipwrecked.

26.  He's our sweet boy and we love him!
