Girl's weekend!

Last weekend, mommy and I took a road trip to the Decorah, IA area. Our boys stayed home. We went to my mommy's cousin's wedding. I LOVE weddings and it was a special weekend because I got to spend time with just mommy and grandpa and grandma! We even stayed in a hotel and I got to stay up late and sit in the hot pool! We left Friday after daddy came home. It was about a 2 3/4 hour drive. We met up with the party at rehearsal dinner. I got to see Aunt Julie! I love her! After we ate, we drove to the hotel and checked in! AND went swimming even though it was almost TEN o'clock! Then I got to snuggle with mommy all night! In the morning, we ate breakfast at the motel. Then we got to swim with Alex (the groom). After that, we got dressed and saw the sights of Decorah--Luther College, a fish hatchery, and a yummy pizza place! Then it was off to the wedding and big dance! We saw horses pulling buggies on the drive. Interesting to be in rural Amish country!. We even stopped for honey at one of the farms. Mommy almost fell and both mommy and grandma got muddy shoes/feet! The dance was fun and we got to take lots of fun dress up pictures! My favorite part was the bride! Congrats Alison and Alex! What a special day!
