Lauren and Nolan had a fun 4th of July! Gramps and Grandma Marilyn took them to the parade in Lennox, SD in the morning (even though it was super hot). (Sorry I have no pictures, but I wasn't there!) Then they hung out at their house until after I was done helping with kettle korn. Again, sorry, no pics!
That evening, we hung out at Grandma Bonnie and Grandpa Dave's. I picked up some "fireworks" that were suitable for young kids...snaps...okay, I also got sparklers, smoke balls, snakes, and a few grounders!
The biggest hit was definitely the snaps. Even (I mean especially) Nolan LOVED them.
