Nolan's Baptism

Returning to mom after you got to walk throughout the congregation.

Taking a bottle break.  Such a big boy!

Big sister helped you open presents only after she asked you if it was okay.

Mommy made your "frosting cookie".  It's what Lauren wanted to have for your celebration!

Nolan was baptized on October 16th, 2011 at the 10:45 am church service at Sheppard of the Lake Lutheran Church in Prior Lake, MN.  His sponsers were Aunt Noel and Uncle Rob Reagan and Uncle Neil and Aunt Jada Kahl.  Greg Noteboom was the videographer.  Other special people in attendance were Aunt Mary Noteboom, cousin Meegan Noteboom, Aunt Alyssa Heidemann, Grandpa Dave and Grandma Bonnie Kahl, Grandpa John and Grandma Marilyn McNeill, Grandpa Bruce and Grandma Sandi Heidemann.  Great Uncle Bruce Tripp also joined us for lunch.

Nolan slept through most of the church service.  He was very relaxed during the baptism ceremony.  He was baptised with another little girl who was a little over one and then a family including a mom and her little boy and girl who both looked to be in preschool.  He woke up to check out the baptismal font when it was his turn with the water.  Then he snuggled his little head right into my shoulder.  He then woke up long enough to be carried around the church by the pastor to meet everyone.

After church, we headed to Dangerfields for their Sunday brunch.  They had set us up in a small room.  We all ate and enjoyed some more visiting from 12:30-2:30.
