26 Months....

Well, I thought I should update you about what I've been doing these days. I've been learning lots, so now that I'm two I figured I'd tell you what I've been doing.

1. I like to sing songs and can pretty much remember all the letters of the alphabet to sing my ABCs.

2. I can count up to at least 10.

3. I like to talk on the phone. In fact, yesterday when Aunt Noel called. I told mommy "I want to talk" and very much had a brief conversation with Aunt Noel.

4. I go potty on the big girl potty. I get to wear my big girl Dora or Princess underwear. Some nights I even stay dry during the night.

5. My favorite toys are anything related to babies or my kitchen.

6. My favorite place to be is outside...so I've loved swimming, going to the park, or hanging out in my yard or my neighbor's yard.

7. I like to go to garage sales and even help mommy look for signs.

8. My favorite food is mac and cheese...I would eat it everyday for every meal if they let me!

9. My favorite movie is Shrek. When mommy and daddy let me watch TV, I like Dora or SpongeBob.

10. I can pedal my bike by myself.

11. I like to help with walking Charlie and Sophie. Sometimes I get mad because mommy doesn't let me hold the leashes. She says it's because they are still bigger than me, but I try to tell her I AM a BIG girl.

12. I'm learning my colors...yellow is my favorite.

13. I have lots of clothes to wear, but I only like wearing my dresses and sometimes my skirts. I am in size 3T.

14. My favorite shoes are my flip flops. I wear size 7 in shoes.

15. I love to swim and jump in the water. Mommy and daddy are letting me take swimming lessons again in September.

16. I don't sleep anymore. I don't like naps and I don't like to go to bed at night. I make mommy or daddy lay with me until I fall asleep. I've told them I'm scared of storms and so far it works...suckers! Anyways, they are so lucky if they get me to go to sleep before 9:30 (and whoever puts me to sleep usually falls asleep with me). And then I wake up around 6:00 am...7 days a week. I also sometimes wake up during the night...to go potty or because of a dream maybe.

Overall life is good. I promise I'll try to be good. I'll try to work on the sleep problems. I love my mommy and daddy and they love me.
