I went to the doctor today. He was a nice man. I talked with him today. He had some interesting toys to look at. I really wanted to put this thing they called a stethescope in my mouth. Our visit was fast today. No mean nurses to make me cry when I got shots. Nope, I didn't even have shots today! The nurse was nice. She just had mommy take my clothes off so she could see my baby fat. I had to wait in line at the scale for a tiny baby. I far outweighed her! The doctor told mommy & daddy that they're doing a good job with me. I love them both very much! He also said that we're right on track developmentally and even a little ahead. My stats from my 9 month well check were: Weight-18 lbs. 6 1/4 oz-50 %tile, Height-27 3/4 inches-70 %tile, Head- 17 1/4 inches-50 %tile.
Top 9 changes about being 9 months:
1. I wave bye-bye.
2. I cruise all over the furniture and around the coffee table.
3. I can go from standing to sitting to standing again all by myself. I can even stand alone all by myself for 10-20 seconds.
4. I like to give kisses to my toys, puppies, and parents.
5. I take a bath in the big tub. No more baby tubs for me!
6. I walk behind my push toy.
7. I'm into EVERYTHING, which comes with a fair share of boo-boos.
8. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night. I like a midnite snack.
9. All this exploring is exhausting. I catch up on my rest more with naps.
